World Mental Health Day 2023Mental health is a fundamental human right, and at The Class Of One, we take it seriously. Our primary, middle and senior wing recently united to commemorate World Mental Health Day, recognizing the importance of mental well-being. Led by Ms. Tejal Sahni and Ms. Nitu Agarwal, our Psychology counsellor, the session was an interactive exploration of emotions, thoughts, and mindfulness. We discussed positive affirmations and the power of breathing exercises. This event provided a safe space for students to share and discuss their feelings, empowering them to tackle everyday challenges. Ms Neha Arora, our senior Academic Coordinator, delivered an inspiring message, urging self-care and seeking support when needed. Hindi Diwas Celebration with highlights from Nukkad Natak बाकी भाषाओं को मैंने महज किताबों में रखा, हिंदी को सब जगह अपने भावों में रखा ! द क्लास ऑफ वन के इस वर्ष के हिंदी दिवस के उत्सवी सेलिब्रेशन के क्या ही कहने ! हमने अंतर सदन नुक्कड़ नाटक प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया, जिसमें लिंग समानता और पर्यावरण संरक्षण के महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर चर्चा हुई। रुबी, एमेरल्ड, सेफायर और टोपाज -- ये चार घरानों ने अपने बीच मुकाबला किया जिसमें से रूबी घराना विजयी घोषित हुआ। सभी छात्र-छात्राओं ने भाषा की सीमा को लांघते हुए पूरी मेहनत के साथ तैयारी की और यह साबित कर दिखाया की दृढ़ निश्चय है तो कुछ भी असंभव नहीं है।The celebration of the Hindi Diwas at The Class of One this year was truly remarkable! We organized an inter-house street play competition where important issues like gender equality and environmental conservation were discussed. Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz - the four houses competed against each other, and Ruby House emerged as the winner. All students prepared with great dedication, breaking the barriers of language, and showed that with firm determination, nothing is impossible.

We recently celebrated International Literacy Day, highlighting the significance of literacy for individuals and societies. Simultaneously, we commemorated Hindi Diwas, recognizing the day Hindi became our official language. Our young learners enthusiastically participated in the "Nanhe Kavi Competition," showcasing their expressive talents. Additionally, they initiated a "Read to Lead" drive, empowering illiterate individuals in our community. The competition's exciting rounds, including spelling challenges, recognized outstanding participants. We extend our gratitude to all participants, teachers, and supporters for contributing to this inspiring event, furthering the cause of literacy and education within our community.
The Class of One and their incredible Student Council came together to create a Teacher's Day celebration that transcended virtual boundaries. From art sessions to dance moves and science experiments, students revelled in a day filled with self-expression and creativity. Teachers gracefully handed over their roles to student facilitators, giving both sides a chance to shine. But the best part? Our dedicated Student Council didn't forget to honour our beloved educators with a heartfelt tribute. Despite the virtual setting, the spirit of learning and celebration shone through, proving that distance can't dampen our school community's resilience and creativity. This Teacher's Day was truly unforgettable!
Raksha Bandhan this year went beyond sibling bonds, revealing deeper traditions. TCO1's middle and senior wing celebrated by exploring the festival's essence. Students gained insights into historical aspects and stories, enhancing their understanding and knowledge. Additionally, the juniors showcased their creativity through a Rakhi-making competition, adding more joy to the celebration.
TCO1 opened the doors to a captivating workshop on Artificial Intelligence. Renowned expert, Ms. Meera Agarwal, guided our students through an enlightening journey into the realm of AI. The workshop commenced with an engaging interaction, igniting the curiosity of our young minds. Students were then immersed in an informative session, exploring a spectrum of AI's marvels: from its applications in various domains to its everyday significance. The intricacies of AI in different fields, its role in daily life, diverse AI domains, and key terminologies were seamlessly unravelled during the workshop. The session culminated with an awe-inspiring video presentation, leaving our eager learners intrigued and inspired. The floor was open to questions, as inquisitive students seized the opportunity to expand their understanding of this transformative technology.
It’s International Friendship Day, and we celebrated this with a special assembly that celebrates this beautiful bond. Children learnt the importance of friendship, empathy and making true connections. They also crafted beautiful bands that symbolise the meaningful bonds they share. We are delighted to see our students spreading love and unity in our school community and beyond.
On International Moon Day, we, at The Class of One, embarked on a cosmic journey, paying tribute to the historic Apollo 11 mission and India's Chandrayaan mission. Engaging in interactive sessions, a captivating Moon Walk Dance, and an exciting quiz, we fostered curiosity and ignited a shared passion for space exploration. Today on 19th July, students and teachers of TCO1 came together to commemorate Nelson Mandela Day, embracing his values of peace, equality, and community service. The special assembly was a heartfelt tribute to Mandela's enduring impact. Our students engaged in various service projects, they cleaned up the neighbourhood, planted trees, brought joy to local seniors, and donated to underprivileged children. In the spirit of Ubuntu, (an ancient African word meaning 'humanity to others') organised a poster-making competition, where children beautifully portrayed oneness and love among all. Mandela's vision lives on through our actions, shaping a better world for all.

The Class of One (TCO1) celebrated Mother's Day on May 14, 2023, to appreciate the role of mothers in one's life. The school organised a special assembly for toddlers to honour their mothers and express their love and gratitude through songs, dance, and other activities. The students also spent quality time with their mothers by being involved in a photo frame making activity. The event celebrated the beauty of motherhood, including the charm, beauty, and flaws of being a mother. The bond of love shared between kids and mothers was honoured and celebrated, as it is considered the sweetest gift given by God. In conclusion, Mother's Day is a special day to acknowledge and appreciate the immense contribution of mothers in our lives.
"Study Decor Competition" organized by TCO1 was a huge success! Students from grades 6-10 (Advantage and EFA) participated and showcased their creativity by decorating their study spaces. The competition aimed to encourage a conducive learning environment, and we were thrilled to see the effort put in by the students. Congratulations to Hardhik Dornadula and Rishii Sai Pal of VI Adv, Mohammed Zakiuddin Ahmed of VIII Adv, and Khatija Begum X Adv for winning the top 3 positions! TCO1 celebrated World Health Day with activities promoting healthy living habits. Pre-schoolers learned about physical and mental health and healthy eating through a cooking activity. Primary wing students received an inspiring talk by Dr. Khushboo Garg on good health and hygiene. Secondary wing students participated in a healthy habits quiz and a Zumba session by Ms. Sangeeta Chauhan. International UK Curriculum students ended the event with yoga, meditation, and a health quiz. Overall, the event provided hands-on experience of healthy living habits and reinforced the notion that health is the real wealth.
