What we think?

The sound educators of “The Class of One”, believes that “above statics clearly suggest us about the sharp importance of suitable & proper supervision of child’s brain in his/her the early age to provide a healthy development & growth of brain. And this is the reason, due to which Ministry of Education (GoI) comes up with Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) through NEP-2020.

Present situation analysis by the sound educators of “The Class of One”:

In this day and age, goodness & benefits of good ECCE is not at hand to crores of students in India. Situations are bad for the Indian students who are from socio-economically poor families. Thus, the educators of “The Class of One” believe the need of high funds to make ECCE at the hands of every students of India. By this, we can develop the educational system of India more strongly.

Good quality ECCE:

The educators of “The Class of One” have an idea about a good quality ECCE for India. ECCE should have:

  • All purpose creative learning
  • Play based learning
  • Task based learning
  • Q & A and Quiz based learning

Apart from it, the educators of “The Class of One” have an idea that above learning methods must include:

Aside from the above, the educators of “The Class of One” believe that we should also emphasize on growing the following in our school students:

  • Skill sets useful for community, group, state, country, et cetera
  • Manner, politeness, civility, genteelness, morality, good conduct, et cetera
  • Hygiene and neatness (personal/public)
  • Working together and mutual efforts

Role of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT):

NCERT is in process of developing a National Curricular and Pedagogical Framework for Early Childhood Care and Education (NCPFECCE) for children up-to the age of 8 in two parts:

  • Part1: Sub-framework for 0-3 year-olds
  • Part2: Sub-framework for 3-8 year-olds

Proposed Delivery of ECCE in India:

ECCE will be delivered through the education institutions, like:

  • ANGANWADIS
  • ANGANWADIS remotely located with primary schools
  • Pre-primary schools co-located with existing primary schools
  • Independent pre-schools

Role of “The Class of One” in delivery of ECCE:

ECCE curriculum:

 

The responsibility for ECCE curriculum and direction is with Ministry of Education, GoI. The planning and implementation of ECCE curriculum will be carried out jointly by:

  • Ministry of Education, GoI
  • Women and Child Development (WCD)
  • Health and Family Welfare (HFW)
  • Tribal Affairs
